Blue Petal herbal workshops are a great way to find out more about herbs. It is important to recognise herbs (feel, touch, smell, taste, shape), know the growing conditions, harvesting conditions and know how to use them.
It will give you a great satisfaction when designing a recipe that meets your needs.
This hands-on workshop explores how gut health and immune function go hand in hand—and how we can support both with herbs.
In this session, we will discuss why digestion changes in autumn and how to keep it strong, as well as the important role the gut plays in supporting the immune system.
We will explore herbs such as ginger, turmeric, astragalus, marshmallow and slippery elm, which can help soothe digestion and boost immunity. The workshop will also include practical guidance on making warming herbal tonics, teas, and remedies that nourish the gut.
This interactive session includes tastings, take-home herbal blends, and printed workshop notes.
