Blue Petal herbal workshops are a great way to find out more about herbs.  It is important to recognise herbs (feel, touch, smell, taste, shape), know the growing conditions, harvesting conditions and know how to use them.  

It will give you a great satisfaction when designing a recipe that meets your needs.

Junior Kitchen Club: Baking, Blending & Tea Time

 School Holiday Workshop | Ages 9–10

A hands-on, nourishing school holiday workshop designed for curious young cooks.

In this relaxed 4-hour session, children will explore the joys of the kitchen through baking, herbal blending, and shared food. Guided step-by-step, they’ll learn practical skills, gain confidence, and enjoy plenty of time to create, taste, and connect.

What we'll be making:

  •  Homemade bread and biscuits
  • A custom herbal tea blend
  • A simple herb butter or dip
  • A shared tea-style lunch using what we’ve made
     

Along the way, we’ll talk about ingredients, flavours, and kitchen safety in an age-appropriate, engaging way — with movement breaks and calm moments woven in to keep energy balanced.
